5 Clear Steps: Request a Waiver of Subrogation

A Waiver of Subrogation waives the right for one entity to subrogate, or pursue restitutions, in the event of a workers' comp claim.

Blanket Waiver- No specific entity/business is listed, therefore it can be used in more than one situation.
Specific Waiver- A specific entity/business is named, and the waiver covers only the certificate holder as they're listed.

1. Email the work comp department at coi@ibusinesssolutions.com
2. Provide the name and address of the cert holder, and request a Certificate of Insurance with a Waiver of Subrogation.
3. A work comp team member will provide you with the pricing, and await your written confirmation to proceed.
  1. It may take up to 5 business days to process.
4. Once we receive the Waiver of Subrogation from the carrier, we will produce the applicable Certificate of Insurance and send both to you.
5. If you would like us to email it directly to the certificate holder, please provide us with their email address in your request.
